Reporting Misconduct by Instructional Personnel & Administrators
Our Commitment
Mount Dora Montessori is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and ethical environment for every child, family, and staff member in our community. All employees, educational support staff, and administrators are obligated to report any misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.
What Constitutes Misconduct
The following are examples of conduct that must be reported:
Obscene language
Drug or alcohol use
Disparaging comments toward students or families
Prejudice or bigotry
Sexual innuendo or inappropriate conduct
Cheating or testing violations
Physical aggression
Accepting or offering favors
This list is not exhaustive. Any behavior that compromises the wellbeing of a student should be reported.

Florida Certified Educators
Legally sufficient allegations of misconduct by Florida Certified Educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services in accordance with Florida law.

Full policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators are posted in the school's front office and are available upon request.
